A palace of the modern Arabian Nights

Walls finished in tadelakt, a traditional plaster from the Marrakech region, marble floors edged with zellige tilework, traditional enamels, false ceilings in carved cedar or decorative “staff” plasterwork… Overlooking Rabat, Al Alia stands like a palace straight out of the Arabian Nights.

Owned by the Sheikh of Dubai, it comprises four separate buildings, three of them restored and one recently built. Made up of three blocks forming two independent wings, the new building houses twelve suites, lounges and a basement fitness complex featuring a swimming pool, hammam and sauna, combining luxury with Oriental tradition.
